Welcome to the 2023 Player Registration for Baraboo Amateur Baseball Association!

 

Registration consists of the following sections:

  • Player information
  • Parent/guardian information 
  • Emergency and Medical Information
  • Parent, Guardian and/or Spectator Expectations
  • Concussion information and agreement
  • Release, Indemnification and Hold Harmless
  • Payment, including raffle fundraiser pre-payment.
    • Payment plan options are available if registration is completed by 2/15/2023.
 

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is accurate and that any information brought forward from a previous registration has been updated.

 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.

 

Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

 

This year, as one of our key fundraisers, BABA will be having players and family sell raffle tickets. Some information pertaining to the fundraiser:

 

  • The raffle tickets will be pre-purchased by families during the registration at $100.00 per family.  If you have more than one player, you will be credited back anything over the $100.00 during the checkout process.
  • Once the tickets are distributed, it will be your choice if you would like to keep them for yourself or sell them as a way to get reimbursed for your pre-payment. 
  • Tickets will be handed out to families in March and will have to be returned to the coaches by April 30th.
  • Ticket winners will be drawn at the June BABA board meeting and will be listed on the BABA Facebook page as well as contacted directly.
  • Prizes:
    • 1 -  Grand Prize of $1,000.00
    • 2 - Second place prizes of $500.00
    • 2 - Third place prizes of $250.00
    • 5 - Fourth place prizes of $100.00

 

Registration Information

 

Registration is open to:

  • Players currently (22-23 school year) in grades 3rd through 8th.
    • If you currently have a child age 5 to 2nd grade, we will again be offering T-ball and coach pitch this summer! Registration for those levels will be released at a later date.  
  • Youth within the Baraboo School District 

Cost:

  • Player fees by level:
    • 9U-12U: (3rd - 6th grade) $150.00
    • 13U-14U: (7th - 8th grade) $200.00
  • Raffle fundraiser pre-purchase:
    • Cost during registration is $100.00 per family and is applied during registration. If you have more than one player, you will be credited at checkout for anything over $100.00

  • Jerseys from previous years can be used, but each player will need to have one for the season. The cost for a jersey is $40.00

Payments:

  • The raffle pre-purchase is paid in full at the time of registration.
  • Jersey purchases are paid in full at time of registration.
  • Player fees can be paid in full or a payment plan option is available at time of registration.
  • Payment Plan:
    • The payment plan can only be used if registration is completed by February 15th.
    • The additional payments for the payment plan will be automatically withdrawn on March 1, April 1 and May 1.
    • Plan breakdown for registration costs only : 
      • 9U-12U: $50.00 to be made at time of registration and 3 payments of $33.33 thereafter.
      • 13-14U: $50.00 to be made at time of registration and 3 payments of $50.00 thereafter.

Team Formats

 

9u and 10u players will be combined and split into evenly divided teams currently expected to play in the minors division of the Wisconsin River League with surrounding community teams comprised of like skilled players.  This is a community league format.  

 

11u and 12u players will be combined and split into evenly divided teams currently expected to play in the majors division of the Wisconsin River League with surrounding community teams comprised of like skilled players.  This is a community league format.

 

13u and 14u players will play within their individual age groups.  Team format will be determined based on total registrants at each age level.  Rotational play or A/B splits are possible.  If A/B splits are needed an evaluation by the varsity head coach will be conducted to determine players on each team.
